Your Chance To Build Your Own Custom Rifle Has Come

Maybe you’ve never built your own custom rifle, but if you act quickly, you might just have a chance to change that.

A few months ago, Gadsden Guns held a rifle build class that was so popular, half of the seats were reserved before the announcement was even made to the public.

Well, that happened again.

It’s For Your Own Good

The government may be money hungry, corrupt, and inept, but as a whole, the law is essentially there to protect the general public…right?

And, out of the three branches of government, it’s the judicial system that has your interests most in mind, isn’t it? The Supreme Court isn’t nearly as corrupt as Congress or the office of the President.

After all, that’s what checks and balances are all about. If the Executive and Legislative branches are full of crooks, the Judicial keeps things from getting too far out of hand.

But what if your safety and wellbeing weren’t being protected by the Supreme Court, either?

The “New” ATF-41F Rules

Here’s how the ATF works:

Without going through any actual legislative process, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives writes and announces some regulation.

If you, as a citizen trying to obey the letter of the law, don’t abide by this regulation for which your representatives in Congress have not voted, you are subject to potentially severe consequences.

Grassroots Feature: Meet S.C.O.P.E.

Remember when you felt like you could make a difference in the world?

The Ordeal After The Ordeal

Smart people plan.

Do you know what you would do if you were forced to defend yourself? Especially if you’re going to carry a gun, having a self defense plan is worth some serious thought.

What we rarely ever expect, though, is the second attack – the part that comes after the emergency is over – because it generally comes from a totally unexpected source.

If you’re confused, that’s okay. Here’s a real life example:

Several years ago, our family was victimized.

You Can’t Measure That

The internet is full of shady statistics.

Even accurate statistics are used to tell half truths or lead you to false conclusions. You already know this, of course. Nobody needs to remind you that numbers are easy to manipulate.

For example, that stat that’s been floating around claiming that there have been more “mass shootings” than days of this year might be technically factual, if you’re willing to include in that figure all incidents of gang violence, defensive firearm uses, inner city scuffles that resulted in minor injuries at best, and events that were alluded to in news outlets but may not have actually occurred.

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season

We are all gearing up for the holiday season. There is shopping to do, meals to prepare, and many of us will be traveling.

No doubt there is much to preoccupy us, but there is also a nagging voice in the back of our minds…what if something similar to the Paris attacks happens here? The truth is that no matter what safeguards our government institutes, there is never a guarantee that something bad won’t happen. Whether it’s a terrorist attack, natural disaster, fire, or some other catastrophe, bad things sometimes happen to good people. Those who are prepared stand a much better chance of surviving and avoiding injury or death.

5 Ways To Make Activism Work

The Modern Activist

For most people today, political activism amounts to little more than expressing their opinion publicly.

Debate and discussion are certainly  part of the core of this nation’s political system, and we have the utmost respect for anyone willing to speak up and let their voice be heard on a larger scale. It takes courage to express your beliefs and let people challenge you, and maturity to listen to opposing viewpoints and weigh in with reason and thought.

Activism, though, requires a little bit more.
